If so, does it result in fungal contamination of the system?
We started feeding Liquifry and the other empty tanks started to have fungal growth. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with this. Thanks!

The use of the product may leads to strong water contamination . I personally advise the use a specially formulated and granulated diet by SPAROS Lda. for this purpose (www.sparos.pt/). Larval survival of the zebrafish is extremely high. In any case you should provide partial water changes to keep the bacterial load and nitrogen compounds at optimal levels for the species. www.sparos.pt/

Yes I did notice a strong water contamination.
Thank you for your reply. From experience, I know that having ample food can stimulate larval survival. Do you give them a lot of the granulated diet for each feed?

We're currently using graded pellet sizes for different life history stages from this company: http://zmsystems.co.uk/ They will send you free samples too which is useful!
They also supply all the work on zebra fish at cambridge university.

Hi there, we have totally stopped liquidfry. We now give rotifer culture, with some dry feed at my current institute.

Are you finding rotifers to be a better fist-feed option in terms of ease, survival, and growth-rate?

Yes we do. A mixture model seems to work well too. We regularly get our fish ready by 2.5-3month.
Do you enrich the Rotifers with say, Nannochloropsis or commercial enrichment product before feeding?
