When distributed BESS controllers detect voltage violations (say lower limit violations) at more than one buses at time “T seconds”, they would compute the required ‘power exchange’ between BESS and grid based on their control strategy at all violated buses using only local information. Then, they would send signals to corresponding BESSs simultaneously (e.g., T+2 seconds) to inject the computed powers into the Grid. Consequently, there is a chance that the voltage at the buses (previously unviolated as well as maybe some of the violated ones) near the substation violate the other voltage limit (i.e., upper limits); how can this issue be taken care of using distributed control of ESS?

Also, in above discussed situation, we may be unnecessarily using some of our ESSs which would ultimately contribute to their life reduction.
