Is there anyone with any ideas regards a Sports Therapy dissertation? My interest is in spine pathology,neurological disorders, or how well patients follow and understand their exercise prescriptions,advice etc. Im struggling
to decide what to do. Any ideas?Is there anything which you would like to know but there is a gap in that topic?

There's a lot that can be discussed on areas of sports therapy depending on the location you are, target population you are looking at, previous research on the same areas and with this information its easy to create a gap which can be followed and pursued
I think something related to the level of adherence to prescriptions would be interesting and useful. For example, comparing different strategies to prescribe rehab and the differences in level of adherence and possibly differences in rehab outcomes between the presciping strategies. For example digital platforms could be utilized (an app with reminders, possibly gamifying the rehab, virtual contacts and check-ups with the clinician) and compared to more traditional ways of prescribing rehab (verbal and written instructions, follow-ups at longer intervals).
I think with the aging of the world population to perhaps look at older athletes (exercisers) might be a novel area of interest. What are Masters/Veteran athletes doing relative to injury prevention and treatment? Especially if they were athletes in their youth; that is, are they better now in dealing with injuries or adhering to prescriptions of exercise routine to prevent/recovery from injury?
