Based on Discrete Dislocation Plasticity (DDP) from Superposition principle.

1. Whether the free surface image stress of a SINGLE dislocation is the finite element (FE) solution of the compensating tractions boundary condition (BC) for ALL intergranular dislocations (Keep the surface force free) and ALL dislocations (Reflect the effect of the steps produced by the escape dislocations)?

2. Should we consider the image field on the F-R dislocation sources, espect for that on the dislocation? If not, do we need to perform two separate finite element calculations in a time step for the dislocation source and the dislocation ?
