We are involved in the digitisation of the BOS Arthropod Collection of University of Oviedo (Spain) to release datasets of the specimens deposited in it throught GBIF network. There are several approach in digitisation of natural history collections, and here is our digitisation workflow, showing the data quality contol steps and the metadata included to release useful biodiversity data. In the slides we use as example the Odonata subcollection, the first one digitisated in the BOS Arthropod Collection... What do you think about the workflow? Are you using similar workflows in digitisation of biodiversity/entomological/zoological/herbarium collections? How do you optimise the workflow?

Best wishes,

Antonio.
