I tried to search about the molecular weight effect on the conductivity of the conjugated polymer I found these polymers have lower molecular weight. But why short chains why not saying the long chains because the number of
π bonds increases in conjugated polymers and then the charge carries increases leading to conductivity increased with increasing chain length?

Generally the conductivity of conjugated polymers depend on doping degree, when you add increased amounts of dopants, the conductivity will increase, due to creation of more polarons and bipolarons (charge carriers).
Conjugation length may also affect the conductivity; the longer conjugation length, the lower energy required to excite charge carriers.

Well both n and p type dopants show conductivity improvement, degree of improvement depends on your experiment's conditions.
@michel Rahal yes both can increase the conductivity but the p type is most popular in the academic research because the n type generates negative charges which is not stable as compared to the positve charged generated by the p type
