Thanks Walid Rabehi i know that tool, but i wanted understand if there are more precise way and better software. For example I'm trying to inform better in Whitebox.. Anyone has experience about this software related to channel extraction?

Preprint Watershed Analysis for delineation of stream network using ArcGIS

Sajjad Munir my case of study area is very flat with some part below the sea level. The ArcGis hydrology of Spatial Analyst Tools allow me only to use the classical Valley Recognition approach (FIll - Flow dir - Flow acc - Con - Stream to Features) with the only parameter Accumulation area's threshold value.

This approach is not useful in my case and gives me a wrong stream output. I was looking for something different, maybe a geometrical approach that doesn't need to "Fill" the DEM, but i never used such methods

Why you dont try the Qgis software (its hydrological plugins)

Walid Rabehi I took a look at QGis Plug-ins but i found nothing specific for channel network. In QGis here's the SAGA's Terrain Analysis Hydrology that has something but I never used it and it seems to have few algorithms. I'm always more orientated is using Whitebox. I also looked at LSDTopoTools it's a wonderful software but is difficult to use and I don't know if the 4 methods to extract channel network are useful for flat areas

Best and easy way to extract drainage and generate watershed for DEM is by using Global Mapper and to choose ( generate watershed ) , by changing parameters according to your demand , soon you get it on screen with no complicated steps > I am including a sample pic. from my laptop sample
