while doing analysis with deepSoil we use parameters like γ, Vs and the depth of the soil layer together with the Earthquake data of the given region and from the analysis we get the relative displacements as a result. In PLAXIS, how can we correlate the parameters used in DeepSoil to plaxis so that we can compare the results of the both models?
Are there any research that you have done on this matter?
If you want to compare the free field response of DEEPSOIL and PLAXIS using Linear elastic constitutive soil behaviour its very simple. You can calculate Gmax =rho Vs x Vs, from that you can calculate youngs modulus that you need to input in PLAXIS. and you can calculate rayleigh damping using first and fifth mode.
If you want to use MC model,, elastic perfectly plastic, one way could be you can run equivlnt linear analysis in DEEPSOIL, calculate equivlnt linear properties, you can use in PLAXIS either with MC or linear elastic.
But if you want to compare nonlinear response of DEEPSOIL with PLAXIS, then you have to calibrate nonlinear PLAXIS model.

Make sure that your plaxis file of input motion is defined in correct format, also if you are applying acceleration time history, u must define right units. Also check mesh size and time step.
