Can someone confirm that decrease in flow rate of the polymer solution in electrospinning results in decreased electric current and increased surface charged density?
In my opinion your statement is partially correct. After reducing the flow rate, the e-spinning equipment will receive a lower electric current for a given polymer solution. However, to induce an effective change on the solution charge density, you will need to change the polymer-solvent system. All these parameters will certainly affect the attained morphologies of the electrospun materials. Regards, Sergio.
