I prepared samples using PVA (
Polyvinyl alcohol) and GA (glutaraldehyde) bio polymers
out of these samples two samples were under gone edx at three different locations i got almost sample reading.
1. Neat PVA
2. PVA + 30 % GA
Plz find attached
Can you help me out to understand the difference in these results.

Hi,
You just need to consider the elemental compositions for both substrates. you have a data for PVA, the data for GA is also coming from its elemental composition (C, 59.98; H, 8.05; O, 31.96).
By having the elemental mapping for your composite, you can roughly confirm the content of GA.
** Please note that eds is not recommended for such substrates as the values is not very accurate for the elements of small mass. If possible, you can use CHNO elemental analysis.
