Dear researchers, I get my UV-Vis DRS results of my materials. So i get F(R), is it allow to plot tauc question directly using F(R) withou absorbance?

i have F(R). can i plot tauc equation with F(R) without convert it into absorbance? What represent F(R)? is it also absorbance according to K-M equation?

Dear Madam, yes, you can plot the Tauc function using F(R). However, the plot of the Tauc function is made from (F(R)*hv)^0.5 as a function of hv, and (F(R)*hv)^2 as a function of hv for indirect and direct transitions respectively .
