Dear Anatomy colleagues,

An increasing number of us are working within a preclerkship curriculum that is 18 months long and wherein anatomy is delivered within integrated, systems-based courses.  Anatomy at UNIOSUN, College of Health Sciences  (OSU) is offered within such a curriculum.

Of course, we are cognizant of the fact that many (most?) students don't - or won't - use a book (ebook) at all. Nevertheless, we are committed at this point to requiring a text of record for our courses.

In the context of a system-based curriculum, we would be most interested in you insights into, and experiences using any of the anatomy texts listed below.

Full texts

Drake et al., Gray's Anatomy for Students

Moore et al., Clinically Oriented Anatomy

Abbreviated texts

Drake et al., Gray's Basic Anatomy

Gilroy, Anatomy: An Essential Textbook

Moore et al., Essential Clinical Anatomy

Review books

Dudek & Louis, High-Yield Gross Anatomy

Hansen, Netter's Clinical Anatomy

If there is another book (or resource) that is not listed, and which you find either particularly useful or not useful (hopefully, you're not using it any longer), please let us know.

Feel free to respond off-line if you see fit.  Send email to [email protected]

Many thanks for your time.

Best regards,

Falana Benedict
