for the arid regions, the date palm cultivation is one of the most important crop. this cultivation has several benefits on economic, social and environmental plans. for that, my question is the following, why we could not find an many papers especially regarding the technology used????
If public institutions are not well supported there will be few publications in areas such as date cultivation. If private interests are doing the work in-house they tend not to share information which they view as proprietary in nature and publication would lead to an opening to the competitive field to their disadvantage.
