Can anyone give me an insight on how to convert Amplitude in mV to pm in butterfly loop curves for piezoelectric materials?(Amplitude vs Applied bias voltage curves)
Convert PFM amplitude in volts to displacement using the deflection sensitivity of the cantilever, then from the slope of the displacement and applied voltage you can calculate the d33
Deflection sensitivity is in m/V which should be available with the cantilever tip details.
Having amplitude in volts now you can convert that to deflection in m. Dividing the deflection by applied bias voltage provides the d33 in pm/V. Also divide the value by Gain (if any).
