Can anyone help to calculate the fuel mass for each cylinder in transient test while the three cylinder is in deactivation mode for 6 cylinder engine.

I made the model in GT Power and trying to match the torque-output of baseline 6-cylinder engine in transient test. I applied the formula to get the fuel mass/per cylinder as:

mf(CDA)=6 x mf(baseline)/(6-n)

where n=number of deactivated cylinder=3

But the simulated results are not impressive. I found that it is a problem of mass of fuel/cycle/cylinder while 3 cylinder cutoff.

Thank you
