I draw "conical helix antenna on a dielectric sheet" in AutoCAD. I labelled the layers of the helix as layer 1 and cone as layer 2.
And then import the drawing from AutoCAD to Solidworks. The file converted into 3D, and I saved it.
Finally, I import the into CST. The helix disappeared, and only the cone appeared. Why it's missing? how to get it back?
I wanted to do parameterized simulation and optimization in CST for this shape. I have attached the picture after import in CST and the AutoCAD & Solidworks files. Please help.

If I was doing it I would give the layers some thickness in Solidworks so they are solid objects and then save them as .sat (acis) files (v22 I think) which CST reads with no problem. Part names and materials aren't preserved, but the geometry is fine.
You can try to export your drawn structure in .sat format, and then import the same file in CST. You do not need to designate any thickness for conductors. .sat format supports the sheets as well as the 3D objects.
If you want to do some sort of optimization or parameter sweep. I recommend you to draw in CST. So that you will be able to optimize the structure.
