Dear all,

I have a question in my mind and I hope you can help me out. I am going to bioprint Alginate/Gelatin scaffolds embedded with chondrocyte cells for cartilage regeneration, and I have a question on the cross-linking time to have a fully cross-linked structure. I would use 100mM CaCl solution, but I am worried to no fully cross-link my hydrogels since I will print 1.75mm cylinders. How would I be able to asses whether also the inner part of my gel is cross-inked and not only the outer part (the one in direct contact with the CaCl solution)?

Thank you very much for the replies, any help is much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Giovanni
