I myself have not seen a case of COVID-19 related ataxia but it is now documented in the literature as one of the possible neurological manifestations or complications of COVID-19. This has been confirmed by my colleagues working in neurology as well.

Thank you for your input; I agree with the description of “neurological manifestations”, but are you aware of relevant publications?

Eventually what I'm trying to establish here is to reach to a broaddifferentiation for it's origin; whether it arose of vascular (e.g. stroke) or neurological origins.. In our case, we didn't find any vascular origin so far, LP demonstrated elevated proteins.

Excellent! Indeed a similar clinical presentation.

The case we encountered was started on immunoglobulins, it seems to soon to draw conclusions on the response.

I think the patho-physiology is the same as other viral infections causing post viral cerebellitis which is common and self limiting..
