I would be very grateful for assistance in verifying my dosage conversion from a human dose to a dog equivalent.

The recommended Human dosage is 50 mg per day for (60 kg weight).

I have calculated the equivalent dog dose as follows:

Human to dog = 1.8 is the correction factor Human dose = 50 mg/ 60 kg b.wt. = 0.833 mg/kg Dog equivalent dose = Human dose x 1.8 = 0.833 x 6.2 = 1.5 mg/kg b.wt of dogs

So, it is 1.5 mg per kg b.wt of dogs. Is this calculation is correct?
