I would like to start using the MiMIC technique and I don't know how to deal with it yet. First, I'd like to know how efficient is this technique and how long it takes usually.

Another thing that I'd like to know is if I just need 1)my fly stock with the MiMIC insertion in an intronic region of my gene, 2) a fly stock with a protein-tag cassette and 3)a fly stock with a source of ΦC31 integrase.
