I have deposited MXene Ti2C2Tx mixed with tritonX binder and heated at 250 C for half an hour in ambient air conditions on FTO glass substrate, the deposition technique followed was doctor blading. The electrolyte used for CV measurement was 0.1M LiClO4, 10mM LiI, 1mM I2. I observed oxidation peaks in CV graph but was not able to find any reduction peaks. I would like to know the reason for this and how to rectify this mistake of mine so as to obtain reduction peaks in CV too.
It could be due to electron transfer through surface adsorbed species or dissolved oxygen in the electrolyte. Sparkle the electrolyte with N2 gas and try CV again. Give me your email id, I'll send some literature.

Dhamodaran Santhanagopalan I'm having the same issue with my electrodeposition where I'm not getting any reduction peaks, but i am bubbling N2 gas through my electrolyte. Any suggestions?
