My interest is in ethical literature in the field of children and young people literature, so my question.
It is difficult to say, but in my opinion the answer is no. However, if you continue reading this kind of literature for a period of time, then the answer could be yes.
All will depend on whether reading is spontaneous (self-motivation) or forced (e.g. education forcing children to read)?
I would answer: yes - provided that of reading a great work of art be spontaneous and authentic. The crucial point consists in not letting vanish the first impression after having read that text. In other words, working further with it, in the form of imagination, of other stories, and the like.
I do believe that great piece of art do contribute to improving the moral standards of humanity. Even though, as it happens, most of the works people read are just - huh, garbage...
It is desirable that READING,MUSIC,& ART may aspire every human beings to have a worthy model of life .Our MIND requires a tonic of peace with our understanding of our thinking line of action.It is Reading with helps us to make a pathway of our lifeline ,to place us at a desire goal .
In our present life ,READINGS materials are as good as the OCEAN ,& accordingly to our liking & interest in vast areas of topics we should make our life line with main aim for our MIND to offer us the KNOWLEDGE which may draw a light on our action of life & it may also helps us for our chosen line of our action for establishing a surrounding atmosphere a helpful model .
READING conveys KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.
