Distinguished and dear professors and colleagues, I am a PhD student who is in his first year of PhD phase at Tongji University. During my college years and master years, I used to focus on marine science, but now I have switched to the major of resources and environment. I am a green guy in this field, and to my initial thought based on my PhD supervisor's resarch spots and items, I would like to build a connection with my master program, choosing geochemistry in polar regions as my PhD dissertation research interest. I am passionated about hydrothermal ecosystems under the influence of my dear master supervisor and my idol, the former is an associate professor at Shanghai Ocean University, and the latter is the first national female marine executive scientist working for the Second Institute of Oceanography. So I would appreciate it if someone could give me a list of hydrothermal regions under the Arctic and Antarctic sea.
