Probably you should also consider the genus Apeiba (Malvaceae, Grewioideae). Especially Apeiba membranacea looks similar - see http://www.acguanacaste.ac.cr/paginas_especie/magnoliophyta/tiliaceae/apeiba_membranacea/a_membranacea30jun98/a_membranacea30jun98.html
Many thanks for the suggestions, but neither Durio sp, nor Artocarpus fits. The fruit is a dry flat disc with 6 cm in diameter and 2 cm high. On its back side is an opening. An other fruit has two holes on the top of the disc. Many small seeds are in this capcule.
Finally, I think it resembles the fruit of species Liquidambar. Even if their fruits have round shape, the size of fruit and seeds is compatible. Your fruit may come from a relative.
I disagree. Liquidambar styraciflua has globular fruits. Te fruit surface in the photo is similar to Platanus acerifolia, but Platanus fruits are globular too, not flattened.
I know this (and told it "resembles" despite their "round shape") that's why I didn't propose directly a Liquidambar and said it could be a relative. May be a tree from the Hamamelidaceae family. It seems to be a lot of candidates but I hope it's closer than the Artocarpus I proposed few days ago.

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I have checked all available pictures and materials about the Apeiba membranacea fuit and they fit to your suggestion!
I agree, you gave the correct answer, thank you very much!
So, Apeiba seems to be clear, but in my opinion any other species of sect. Petoumo (see http://www.fieldmuseum.org/blog/notes-apeiba-malvaceae ) cannot be excluded. I have found a scan of a fruiting herbarium specimen of A. petoumo that also looks similar - see http://sonneratphoto.mnhn.fr/2012/07/23/9/P06644394.jpg I am not sure, if an identificatio at species level is possible. Have to try Flora of the Venezuelan Guayana.
