During stay home every one can explore their own interests and bring out the hidden creativity in them which was subdued because of the busy life schedules. Yoga and meditation can be a better companion in these tough times to mitigate their physical and mental ailments.

The novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak caused changes in the lives of typically developing individuals, as well as some changes in daily routines among children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their families. According to parents, children with ASD exhibit sedentary behavior such as constant watching television at home, using tablets, sleepiness and desire to lie down. Physical activity examples suggested by WHO or scientific studies which can be done during the COVID-19 outbreak, can be compiled and shared with parents. Before this, parents should be educated on the duration, severity and mediation of physical activity.
According to the prevalence of COVID-19 in the world it seems that children and adolescents are increasingly moving towards a sedentary lifestyle which can pose health risks, obesity, diabetes and a variety of other physical and behavioral difficulties . We can share creative ways to improve health and well-being through exercise and physical activity, through unique individual skills and collective power even at home. Regular physical activity can help all of us and our children in daily life and can be a way to connect more with family. It is very important that parents and educators do not allow children to adopt more sedentary lifestyles and greater screen time. These strategies may ensure that the physical and mental health impact of quarantine on children and adolescents are kept minimal.
We want everyone everywhere to be active and healthy and show solidarity during this period. This team spirit and empathy will help all of us to take active challenges together. Sport has the power to change the world. Exercise is a powerful tool for strengthening social relationships, Promoting sustainable development, peace and continuous solidarity. COVID-19 will change many aspects of our society. However, the truth remains that the childhood experience cannot be repeated, rewound, or rewritten. If we fail to act now, we will pay dearly as our adolescents, healthy or not, progress into adulthood . We should encourage parents to take responsibility for the experiences of physical activity of their children and encourage them to include their children in physical activity at home. We suggest children and their parents should be a priority in any planning for collaborative approach with families COVID-19 pandemic in future. Parents should consider the child’s characteristics, and focus on how the child’s developmental ability. These suggestions are obviously not exhaustive but they could represent helpful for parents.
