I am Kiruthika K studying Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. I am doing a research on pregnancy. I would like to know the copyrights permission for Satisfaction of Daily Occupation scale.
This tool is widely used by many researchers, and I doubt they all approached the creator (Eklund) to ask for permission. Whilst the tool is no doubt the copyright of the creator, and it might therefore be best to play safe and approach them, in practice using it without asking for permission is probably safe, espefcally as you will be using it for non-commercial research purposes and will acknowledge the source.
If you are trying to access this via ResearchGate, there is a button on the right side of the screen on which the article appears, "Request full text". The directs questions to the authors and opens a dialogue box in which you can request permission to use the article in your work situation. I've found most authors fairly quick to respond.
The initial query wasn't really about permission to get a copy of the article - it was a request to re-use the research instrument described in the article
