i have few thermal etched samples which had a layer of oxide formed on top of it. back polishing removed some of it. but more polishing may cause the grain structure to disappear. i have to see the grain boundary perfectly. is there any software to digitize the grain boundary only. i have seen such converted images but dont know how to do it. please do help.
Hello brother, there are many ways to digitize the grain boundaries (1) use MS power point, click on the picture, go to the properties and use picture correction or picture colour option. (2) use photoscape program and then enhance the quality of your image.
