Both datasets are good to estimate local sea-level rise that occurred recently. I would suggest you to compile all data available from tide gauge stations and download data from satellite altimetry acquired only along the coastal region of Gujarat. Then, for using the tide gauge data to estimate sea-level rise you have to consider it the land in this region is rising or subsiding, and correct the measurements in case of having any vertical movement in the region.

If you want to have a look in changes that occurred in longer time periods, you could look for geological records, as rocks exposed in dry land that have evidence of being covered by sea recently (e.g., fossils of coral, fish, shells).
