I'm not sure if this of interest to your symposium but there are emerging strategies to buffer climate-threatened wildlife from climate change. For example, many people are now considering assisted migration or modifying landscaping and forestry tactics.

Hi Nidal, sounds like a great idea! I know that using data from past climate changes to inform present CC adaptation scenarios is a useful way to explore many of the questions currently on the CCA agenda.

I think Anatolian and North Syrian Neolithic would be a very wonderful interest regarding this topic. We all know that people had to addopt new way of life and subsistence system in that time. Likewise contemporary people are gradually adopting consuming different types of insects, rodents, marine species (both plants and animals), certain types of terrestrial plants and fungus.

Very important is also to reflect on people's priorities. Often in the offices of scientists different ideas grow than what people think that is required.

It is a great initiative, I can participate with you from Morocco, at least two presentations. Mediterranean area is a good area/zone to be the targeted zone for the first symposium.

Did you think of the threat of climate change to cultural heritage. It is becoming an issue now.

It is big issue. In terms of Architecture, passive design strategies should be involved. Moreover, new applicable technologies in building construction to reduce GHGs and Carbon emission should be included too.
