One possibility is to make a Pyrolysis using a "Fluidized bed reactor" filled with quartz/silica/sand as described by Kaminsky see: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0956053X11004685?via%3Dihub . You might start from a mixed plastic waste, or better due to today cheap and easy selection of Plastic waste via a separation of different plastics with a NIR scanner and automatic mechanical separator could be really better to start from a "enriched PP waste fraction". Then the use of a Catalyst during Pyrolysis increase the selection of propylene monomer or gas generation, such catalyst could be a Ziegler-Natta one (see Kaminsky article) or a Zeolites, Allumina, or an oxide of Ti, Zr, Mn, Zn, Al, Fe, Si, acid or basic, usually produced by: W.R. Grace, or BASF, or Albemarle. The Pyrolysis is recommended "under Nitrogen" to minimize oxidation products generated at high temperature in Air/Oxygen atmosphere. Pyrolysis could be done at low temperature or high temperature with different final products:

1) at low temperatures 450-600°C (with Catalyst) is mainly generating a Liquid fraction/oils similar to le light crude oil, that later can be cracked in a standard Refinery "steam cracker" to regenerate monomers : C2, C3, C4 or light polyolefin gases.

2) at high temperature 700-900°C (with Catalyst) is mainly generating a mix of "gases" or monomers: C2, C3, C4 or light polyolefin gases than later introduced in a standard "distillation Refinery section" can be separated in the pure monomers for re-use.
