I would like to know why in some cases, if you impregnate metal in a support (in different percentages, e.g.: 1%, 2%, 4%) the surface area of the final material do not change significantly.
What could be the reason of this fact?
Maybe the same dispersion and for instance the same crystal size??

I think small size, low percentage and uniform well dispersion of the impregnated metal have less effect upon the surface area of the support, mostly in porous materials ......

Normally if the impersonation carried out properly (little crystallites, no pore blocking and ...), surface area will not change too much.
I think the surface ares mostly decrease with loaded other materials........
