There is a common phenomenon on the plants roots grown under hydroponic conditions, I need some help, what could be the main cause of the green coloring of the roots under hydroponic, despite high frequency of changing the nutrient and adequate aeration.
Green roots can occur when light is available which stimulates chlorophyll formation. You may want to see if your containers are transmitting light
try to hide the passage of light towards the roots, or cultivate the plants in dark non-white pots
-Light could be a factor for stimulating green color in roots
-Should be avoid cross contamination of plant-like organisms (e.g-Algae) in nutrient medium of hydroponic system. It may happen in case of plastic box or large container when plants are exposed to treatment for long time.

chlorophyll production is stimulated by red light. Like others have replied, keep the roots in the dark to avoid them turning green.

I am humbled by the responses provided. This will help in improving the growth condition simulation for my experimental plants under hydroponic.
Depending on the scope of the experiment and the nature of set up, sterility of the entire set up could also be a factor, especially, the nutrient solution.
I think it depends on plant species, not all plants have ability to produce chlorophyll in the roots.
in addition, sometimes it is also becouse of the growths of green alga that are attached to the roots,
generally with black plastic pots there has been not such problem
