We know that with respect to many scimago, high H-indexed journals, acceptability percentage of article categories decrease as; Research Articles > Review Artcicles > Short Communications.
Can anyone suggest a good Science Indexed (Scopus / Web of Science) journals that has higher acceptability rate for short Research Communications?
Recommendations of ones with Free Article Processing Charges (APC s) are highly appreciated.

Please find the Scopus 2019 list (attached) - nearly 25 000 journals.
The starting point is to match your topic with the journal's scope, so you would first need to conduct a search within the Excel list to find those with a short / research communications genre (or use other key words related to your topic).
Once you have narrowed down the possibilities down (e.g. 20 journals), you would need to go to those journals websites to see if page fees are applicable; whether or not their scope matches the topic you had in mind; and if they have an impact factor!
Not sure if this helps, but it is generally a process to find that 1 journal, which will accept your work and meet the other criteria listed above!

Is a Chilean jorunal of social sciences and humanities. It's Scopus and Q3. Articles in English have a higher acceptance rate than those in other languages, so it would be a quick possibility for your paper. Onward!
