The reason for choosing this influence is that in this movement the interior design is characterized by simplicity in terms of composition and materials used, and it is possible to introduce natural or artificial lighting, which gives an impression of calm and comfort. Where the interior design can be affected by this influence in any building and anywhere on the earth. It is inexpensive from an economic point of view.
Post modrenisim architecture specifically parametricisim ( which is based on the constraints in a parametric equation) because that all elements of design become parametrically variable and mutually adaptive so , all the elements are interlinked and an outside influence that changes one alters all the others as a result all the elements works like one form in the space .
It allows architecture to translate the complexity of contemporary life processes in the design so the surface of the form can identify a series of new concepts and methods and make the whole space like talking with people surrounding it .
Brutalist architecture is characterized by its penchant for architectural honesty, reducing structures to their basic building blocks in a confident and bold move toward a new kind of impressiveness. While at first these unadorned, blocky monoliths appear stark, their simplicity makes way for unique architectural opportunities allowing designers to create larger than life functional, modern sculptures.
I can see brutalism influencing interior design more and more, especially within the last few years. It’s strong, raw materials and imposing structures are making their way into the hands of interior designers in the form of furniture and in the form of the materials we are using.
although , The reinvention of brutalism in todays interior design is slightly more luxurious. In result , the brutality may not be as strongly apparent as it was in its prime but if we analyze our interior trends enough we will see that brutalist practices are more pronounced than we realized. Our use of concrete in interiors has been such a strong design element . This design trend stems massively from Brutalism, concrete was the main material used in this practice since it was cheap and accessible post war.
The reason I choose expressionism because it's main characteristic is unlimited imagination and freedom of style ,it was distinguished by unfamiliar materials, formality innovation and very unusual massing and it change form for an emotional effect and for achieving new, exotic, original and visionary design
It was chosen because of the simplicity in the design, as it is visually easy in terms of directions, as well as the use of basic black and white colors, the relationship between arranged elements and the use of geometric shapes
Creating new special systems whereby the three-dimensional shapes are deconstructed and re-installed flattened by using overlapping shape levels liberated from perspective and physical depth... Cubism, in its essential message, had provided a new language with innovative vocabulary that contributed to the development of other styles of expression, and artistic styles different from what was prevalent in the nineteenth century and before. New in building the internal space flowing in its relationship between the inside and outside and its adoption of simple geometric lines and shapes in building its basic determinants and entering the fourth dimension (space - time) in the construction of internal space
In contemporary architecture, it is noticed that there is a return to the intellectual trend that calls for the application of the phrase (less is more) in interior design. That phrase was called by the modernity movement by its most prominent architect Mies van der Rohe with the integration of the concepts of flexibility in dealing with the elements of the interior space, especially furniture, coinciding with the processes of The manufacturing, which has entered significantly within the design stages in contemporary architecture and at different levels, becomes the phrase (more for less) by adopting elements or components within the interior design that do more than one function, especially furniture for the purpose of raising the performance of space on the one hand and adding new aesthetic values associated with modern technology represented by technologies. Digital and the most prominent applications within the interior space, especially public spaces, interactive walls of all kinds that provide more than one function at the same time.
The flexibility involved in this dealing with the components of the inner space provides the ability to respond to the accelerating future changes due to technological development and their reflection on human requirements and the need to achieve the concept of the well-being .
The reason for choosing this influence is that in this movement the interior design is presented in many artistic forms: in painting, architecture, literature, music, cinema. it never went out of fashion and will always be in fashion
The surface should be matte, gloss in this style is not suitable. You can also use smooth wallpapers. And for the design of the walls, you can hang pictures created by artists by expressionists.
It is very important to create a special mood in the style of expressionism. Lighting will help to achieve the desired results. To create this style, expressionism includes the desire to create harmony and a single tonality of color.
In creating an interior in the style of expressionism, most often they use materials: plastics, glass, porcelain, stone, mirrors.
The walls are painted in discreet delicate colors, some elements can be painted in bright colors.
For the floor you need to choose materials that have a smooth surface
The ceilings in this style of interior can be of various shapes, painted white with bright elements. A mirrored ceiling is also perfect.
1- You give up perspective by photographing space from several angles simultaneously.
2- It depends on geometric lines as the basis for all shapes that are designed in the interior space, starting from the shape of the walls and their windows and ending with the furniture.
3- Segmentation of the inner space into intersecting and overlapping levels.
4- Simplifying the inner space and rebuilding its determinants with a geometric pattern determined by simple cubic shapes.
5- Entering the fourth dimension and considering human movement inside space a vital part in realizing the dimensions of its internal spaces.
5- The space overlap between the interior and the exterior, which was achieved through the element of transparency, which enabled the simultaneous display of internal and external elements and objects.
Because the philosophy of this movement is that the architecture moves away from the rigidity of natural connotations and traditional conflicts, and the Deconstruction are built on an unusual basis and looking for stranger. This makes the design breaks out of standard stereotypes.
spiritual dimension of the material and to the design of other dimensions of shapes that express the idea of the interior designer and move away from the traditional use of shapes and elements in addition to that it rejects imitation and repetition.
I choose the “Art Deco “ influence because it combines modern styles with fine craftsmanship and rich materials. It’s elegant and functional and also it represents luxury, glamour and modernity.
Abstract line: I chose abstraction as an intellectual influence in the contemporary language of the interior space. I chose this intellectual influence because abstraction gives a distinctive and new character to exploration so that you see familiar and unfamiliar shapes by taking part of regular forms and making part of it hidden and part visible with the possibility of adding new parts and different elements without Fear of adding something inappropriate
(Neo- vernacular) It is an opposite style to the international style . The reason for the choice is because it is unique style to different places in the world, becoming even a means of reaffirming an identity ، It represents the cultural identity of a certain ethnic group and becomes a tool for strengthening the bond between the population and its geographic location ,fostering a sense of belonging to the space in which they live.
respects local conditions, highlighting its great sensitivity to the geographical context of the surroundings, including climate, vegetation, and topography. as this provide great bioclimatic characteristics and prove to be real examples of architectural sustainability and use of local materials, in turn, supports the local economic and cultural aspect of the region .
Futurism in the interior is a triumph of scientific and technical progress, the beauty of fascinating metal gloss, extraterrestrial geometric shapes and a limited range of colors.
Futurism celebrates the technological advancement. It is only logical that futuristic design interior makes use of cutting-edge technology, involving a myriad option of modern gadgets and multifunctional home appliances.
I chose futurism in the interior because it combines comfort with conciseness, the present with the future, the stringency with the individuality.
And so it creates something entirely unique and different.
Because Art Deco can blend twentieth and eleventh century design styles. Use the illustration and uses of the technology. This brings style, elegance, and order with coordinating designs
It uses mostly neutral colors with metallic tones of silver, gray, red brown.
The reason for choosing this movement is that it is characterized by the use of simple shapes, primary and primary colors, horizontal and vertical lines, and the most important thing is to use the opposition method to achieve a balance within a space
Surrealism has a very particular interior design style and symbolic language. See Neil Spiller's book, Architecture and Surrealism which is mostly interior design.
