actually it is very complicated!
first you should be familiar with standards and requirements used for these kind of components such as API, ASME, ANSI, ISA, NEMA, ... many.
with respect to the applications, test methods, materials, safety level and other requirements for these components are mentioned
if you don't have much experiences, it is suggested to start working with commissioning companies.
