I need a special team of 5 to 7 person who are interested in guiding me in an independent study for developing a global initiative on assessment, intervention, and prevention for trauma care and responses for individuals, families, and communities.
I would like to have input from people all around the world as we the " team work' on this global trauma care initiative.

I am focusing on psychological trauma and healing and recovery for individuals, families, and communties. My concern is also the generational nature of abuse. I would like to tie in developing means of gleenimg from current knowledge, developing new theories that might include the theory of constraint. I am trying to think it through with otber professionals.
Ah, then you may be looking for professionals who do counseling. That's not me, but my friend Dr. Martha Garcia comes to mind. Martha is an Assistant Professor in the Masters Program for Social Work at Pacific University, here in Eugene. Martha is from Colombia, and has cultural sensitivity for trauma in Latin American women

Athough this your area of expertise, i believe your expertise in anthropology and studies of societies will help in looking at impact of trauma on communities and cultures. Your work Memphis was thorough and could be extended to look at trauma and resiience that children and adults experience. Also, iiim comsidering what promotes healing in the community.
