I am preparing Polymer nano-composite for EMI shielding application.while, preparing the nano-composite I have to use APS for initiation of chemical reaction. Should I replace APS with AP?
needs suggestions and appropriate way of replacing above chemical.
Dear Maryam Mehrban, ammonium sulfate is a salt, it can not replace the initiator, however it is used in conjunction with APS and other initiator for some reasons mainly to stabilize dispersions. This is widely investigated for acrylamide dispersion polymerization. If possible why you are attending to replace APS. My Regards

Ammonium persulfate is used in the oxidative polymerization of aniline and ammonium sulfate is the by-product of polymerization. You cant replace it.

Ammonium sulfate is used in combinaison with ammonium persulfate. I think it's never used alone.
