Hi
I am running SWAT CUP to calibrate stream flow(Observed) in a basin. When I am ran the simulations in SWAT CUP, it is giving single set of parameter values(like one value of: curve number, Ground water recharge.... etc).
As we know SWAT is Semi-distributed model., it should give distributed values. I have 61 sub basins in my study area, Is it possible to get 61 curve number values at every sub basin because every sub basin have different curve number values ? . Why it is not giving curve number for every sub basin.
Is it possible to classify basin according to every individual sub basin curve numbers?
and if we want to give individual curve number for sub basins, how to give that is SWAT model to run the model?
By the way I am calibrating only stream flow at final outlet basin.

Yes there is a option to change the curve number according to your subbasin in SWAT-CUP also, I can explain it in more detail if you send me a screen shot of SWAT-CUP interface
But as a user of SWAT, I would like to give you some advice.
1. Please don't move forward with SWAT-CUP at the beginning, Try to do manual calibration first, You will get more insight about the hydrological model and water balance while playing with certain parameters.
2. First do calibration in annual basis for flow by changing parameters( like CN_2 ( change within -5% and 5% of the default value), ESCO, (0.90-1.0), SOL_AWC (-10% to +10% from default values) and thereafter move with parameters like GW_REVAP etc.
3. CN_2 mainly depends on the land use and hydrological group of soils present in the study area, check with David R.Maidment's Handbook of Hydrology, if you dont have it I can send you the pdf of it, you will find the CN_2 corresponding to land cover and different soil types.

For this you have to prepare SWAT_CUP input parameters for each sub-basins, then you can get CN2 value for individuals sub-basins.
Well,
Before the creat SWAT CUP, click on the sub-basin that you want to simulate
and then create new file in SWATCUP and you change the value of CN2

Thanks for reply, but I don't have observed stream flow at every sub basin to calibrate with observer stream flow. Even though can do this to get parameter set for every sub basin?
