We conducted pumping test and recorded recovery for a well. But there is one well without any observation well. Could anyone tell me that can I determine the storage coefficient and transmissivity based pumping test results of one well?
A general rule for aquifer test analyses is that storage coefficient estimation requires at least one monitoring well at some distance from the pumping well, but you may be able to estimate a reliable transmissivity value. I recommend using the AQTESOLV software http://www.aqtesolv.com/ and the Theis recovery solution (if you are examining a confined aquifer).
We have a text book "Flow through Heterogeneous Geologic Media" http://www.cambridge.org/catalogue/catalogue.asp?isbn=1316309681 that describes aquifer test analysis methods.
