Can we construct a layer of clay on the final layer on concrete structures for protect again the corrosion?
if we can make a layer of glazed clay on the surface of concrete structures in the wastewater treatment plant, maybe we can increase durability of concrete.

you can do that but the performance of it is important

there are many approaches to save and protect concrete from corrosion...
your question is one these approaches but not effective
Glazed clay is acid resistant and therefore should be able to resist the sulfuric acid attack in wastewater treatment plants. However, once the glazed clay cracks, its effectiveness will be gone. I have tried nano-coating which is very brittle and found that after cracking, the nano-coating is no longer effective in protecting concrete against acid attack.

I do not have such experience, but have tried different types of coatings on concrete panels. So far, I could not find any coating that can resist the sulfuric acid attack in wastewater treatment plants.
Do you mean polyuria? Polyurea has been tried in a wasterwater treatment plant in Hong Kong, but after about 2 years, the polyurea coating fell off.

It was a government project. The government does not like to have their failure cases leaked out to the general public.
