Hi, there are papers discussing gravitational wave effects in BEC, but to my knowledge, the most credible project aiming at using cold atoms for GW detection is the MIGA project. Cf. their page @ https://sites.google.com/site/migaproject/ and a recent paper on the kind of signals they may be sensitive to : http://arxiv.org/abs/1601.00417. The first experiments are being built in SYRTE, Observatoire de Paris and LP2N in Bordeaux.

Hello Dr. Schaff, Thank you. I look forward to reading the references that you suggested. Detecting gravitational wave involves a large amount of physical space. If GW can be detected using cold atom physics techniques, this may result in more applications of GW.
