Absolutely, Yes. When a part of polymer formed to a crystalline or cross-link one, then we expect a high speed thermal transport for this part because of its regularity.
Majority of the polymers (porous or non-porous) are semi-crystalline in nature, if not all.. Porous polymers might have short or long-range order depending on their processing which may lead to some percentage crystallinity.. Hence, I presume that percentage crystallinity and orientation of polymer chains would determine such material properties in in-plane and through-plane directions for any polymer..
