Can the Twenty statements test be modified to measure qualitatively?

Hi All,

I see that the TST ( Kuhn & McPartland, 1954) has been used to investigate qualitative data , but regardless of the sample size( from 10 + ) has been put to use statistically. Does anyone have an idea as to if the TST can be used to analyze qualitative data strictly in a qualitative fashion? Thanks!
