Could the removal percentage of a recalcitrant compound in wastewater using ozone be estimated on a theoretical basis only (i.e. without doing any experiments) using appropriate correlations or equations? Looking forward to your answer.
You can predict the removal of many substances in a new wastewater based on the DOC of the water intended to be treated. Usually the required dose to remove a organic chemical from wastewater is directly proportional to the DOC of the water.
