The GAS is commonly treated as an invasive pest to agriculture, however, research have shown that it contains a decent nutritional value (averaging 70% protein). Multiple tests and projects have been established and conducted for use in livestock feed, however, most projects were based on feed or substitutions for chicken/poultry consumption and not larger ruminants such as cattle.
Oh sure GAS is a good protein source for animal feed. Also the shell is a wonderful source of calcium and phosphate

If the consideration is only on the nutrient content, GAS can be used for ruminant feed.
However, there should be other things to consider. Firstly, related to animal health. Some parasits (fluke, worm) may use snails as its host. Better check whether GAS also vulnerable as being host. Secondly, physiology. Ruminants are herbivores. Their digestive system are built to process plant matter/biomass. Better check whether they have approriate enzymes to digest GAS content. Thirdly, palatability. This is a key feature of animal feed. Check the palatability of GAS in the ruminant. Last but not least, ethics and cultural barrier/acceptance. Check whether using GAS as ruminant feed violates any ethics or cultural values.
