I am carrying out an experiment to evaluate the serological efficacy (antibody production) of some poultry vaccines. The experimental lay out is a CRD consisting of 5 treatments. Repetitions in each treatment are represented by individual chicks. Sampling is done at intervals and by the end of the trial, 10 sets of samples will be collected per treatment. When once sampled, the bird is marked and excluded from the next sampling. The question is, will I need to use the repeated measures analytic model to compare the different treatments? The notion of "repeated measures" - does it refer to measuring the same variable several times in a given POPULATION on a TIME SCALE or to the REPEATED measurement of a variable in the SAME INDIVIDUAL? Can someone propose to me a command or script in R for the analysis?
