I am trying to isolate a microalga and I have got this from one of the samples I had collected, this is just an image under optical microscope. If someone can help me finding the name of this, it would be helpful. Thanks

Could you make please more detailed picture? More focused on the the detail of these cell? From this picture It is not possible for me to write any taxonomic suggestions in your case.

The picture is not at all clear, so kindly provide following details at least, so that it can be easily identified, you have doubt whether it is Cyanobacterium or alga. so kindly look for the colour and shape of the chloroplast, if it has some definite shape then it will be confirmed as a eukaryotic algae. and check for the dimensions of the cells. cell wall.
to me also it looks like species of Crucigenia only, but clear picture with scale would be needed for better identification.

Agree with the comment that it looks like Crucigenia.
Try to take the photomicrograph at the earliest so that its natural morphological features (colour,shape size etc.) are not lost.
