Hello all, I am having the communication problem between the LC and the software. The mass and console is communicating well, i could able to switch on the surveyor pump, while doing this "Surveyor LC Pump device reported a failure during 'ChangeOperatingMode"command HRESULT - 00000000. The sequence has been passed. To resume the list, go to the "Samples"main menu. and uncheck the "Pause Analysis" menu item. But i uncheck the pause analysis menu as well. Moreover, restart the HPLC, PC also. No improvement, please help me to come out from this issue. Thanks!!!..
This looks like it is auto sampler problem right ?
If it is auto sampler problem ,here are few hints for non responsive of auto sampler.
I encounter the same problem with Excalibur software GC/MS system Normally I shut the GC off and restart . If this doesn't work I go the configuration to reconfigure the auto sampler. If this also doesn't work, delete auto sampler icon and add it back to reconfigure , Also make sure the IP address of auto sampler is correct. For this you have go to computer c directory for IP address to make sure IP address is not conflicting .Also check if green light is flashing on auto sampler.
How many times have you restarted the PC? I had same issue with my LC/MS (Xcalibur ver. 1.2) and some modules are from time to time unstable. Sometimes helped me to restart PC twice or more. Can you also see that all HPLC modules are on-line?
I had the same problem wioth my GC/MS system. After shutting down and restarting the system more than 10 times, we call out the technician and is a problem in the module that makes the interface between the computor and the equipment. Meaning spending 3000€
Thank you all!!!, I solved my problem with help of Jaelle Kellman from Thermo and my IT manager. Its all due to the Ethernet hub was damaged. Jaelle, adivsed us to do some exercises, we performed the same. Finally, we came to know that, EthernetHub is the problem. After changing the new one, all the problems were solved.
