I am trying to enter this reaction in Aspen plus, but I am stuck since this component [C5H10NO3-] is undefined. So can someone help me with this. Thanks

not to mention, this C5H10NO3-, can't be defined directly in Aspen since it is an anion.

in my humble opinion, this is an a c5 length hydrocarbon.this electrical charge may just influence your equation of state while you are entering kinetics manually.can't you use another hydrocarbon with a high electronegative head (an alcohol with 5 carbon and a OH branch at the end).just try to do a work like hypothetical material

ASPEN can add new components. what you have to do is to provide its structure and some physical properties,such as molecular weight.the more properties you added, the more accuracy your component.
