In the surrounding of a swamp in northeastern Germany we have plenty of Reynoutria sachalinensis which are neophytes for that region. Along with this species a second so far unknown species ooccured since two weeks with a woody scape.
Does anybody know this species and can tell if it is as invasive as Reynoutria?
Seems like Reynoutria x bohemica, a vigorous hybrid between R. sachalinensis and R.japonica.
Do you know how it is possible to control the radiation of Reynoutria x bohemia?

The valid genus for these species/hybrids is Fallopia. There's lots of information about control online. Fallopia is difficult to control once well established, so act sooner than later. Cutting or mowing followed by application of herbicides is going to be most effective (see: www.conservationevidence.com/reference/download/2124). Be sure to move all cut plant material off-site (and dry or burn) since even the smallest plant fragment can root and form a new plant. Good luck!
It seems Fallopia japonica of Polygonaceae family commonly known as Japanese knotweed. It is a perennial herb native to East Asia (Japan, China and Korea). Fallopia japonica is an invasive plant species in several countries of Europe and North America.

Control of Fallopia japonica/sachalinensis/bohemica is extremly difficult. Application of herbicides will be problematic in swampy areas, because of rules for groundwater protection. First initials of colonisation, as it seems to be the case here, probably better are controlled by manually pulling out single shoots, leaving at the same time competing vegetation unaffected as far as possible, as e.g. Urtica dioica, Rubus caesius, Calystegia sepium. In dense stands, of course, mowing is necessary. Treatments will have to be repeated every 10 days/two weeks. So, it is a time consuming and laborious task. It will need some patience, before you notice first effects, when after some treatments rhizomes will get exhausted more and more.
Identification as Fallopia x bohemica seems to be correct here.
